Parking on the corner of Hill Lane intersection of Vicarage road.

Reported in the Car parking category by Andrew Harrison at 21:19, Sun 20 January 2019

Sent to Bolton Borough Council 1 minute later

Obstruction of the footpaths and road, on the corner of Hill Lane. Cars are now parking on both sides of the road at the bend on hill lane, near the intersection of Vicarage Road. Obstruction of the highway and footpaths is causing vehicles to mount the kerbs in order to pass through. Safety is compromised to crossing pedestrians and schoolchildren attending the nearby school. The issue will worsen, as the new estate nears completion. A large amount of extra traffic from the new estate will undoubtedly create additional safety problems. The problem is often worse in the evenings when all vehicles are home. Hill Lane is a main through route, for large vehicles buses and cars. Double yellow lines and restrictions on parking at peak times should be considered and lines across all driveways should be added, to the few that have already benefited from the partial scheme. Please can we have lines in front of all driveways.
