Security light not working
Reported in the Street Lighting and Road Signs category anonymously at 15:19, Tue 15 January 2019
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 1514055.
In the photo showing the houses you will see at number 7 Broad Oak close there is a sensor on the wall and I'm informed that is the sensor for that light. I'm also told that inside number 7's electric cupboard is the councils electrics too. If you think this is Clarion's problem please let me know and I will deal with.

Carol Hayes has spoken to the Deeds and Lands Team and they have confirmed that all land around Broad Oak and Goose Green is managed and owned by LBB. I have been in contact with the resident and he has emailed me pictures. I have forwarded them to LBB asking them to do the necessary. The resident has been contacted and informed of the situation and he has also reported it to LBB via the LBB website there is little more we can do!

So are you still sure the land with the light on is not owned by you?

I recently (Last Friday) had a meeting in the close with two ladies from Clarion housing, Sandra and Carmen I believe who confirmed the light is yours and even has a number on it that you should recognise, I look forward to this being fixed forthwith as it has not worked for the last 4 plus years.

Apologies for the delay in resolving this issue, we are looking into a solution that is not powered from the property or left in an exposed position as the current unit is.

Thank you, we really could do with a better security lighting system in the close which will help against the anti-social behaviour that goes on in this area that is lived in by very elderly tenants.
