Overgrown stretch of land along Croydon Canal on Seymour Villas side
Reported in the Parks and Greenspace category anonymously at 16:41, Mon 14 January 2019 using FixMyStreet Pro

Pls.would you cut down the overgrown (weed& scrubs) area along the Croydon Canal, north side, along Seymour Villas, facing end walls - from house no. 77 and to the end of the Canal (Bromley Council land). It has not been trimmed since March last year 2018. Different tools were then left behind, since grass and scrubs had gone too tall at that time and therefore proving it difficult/impossible to trim/ maintain. Many Thanks for all your good Park maintenance also!

While this area is LBB land, it is not currently covered under our Parks maintenance programme as it is left as conservation area as part of the canal bank environment. Any previous cut backs would have been in accordance with the canal bank gabion works which have now been completed. Should any vegetation become an issue by overhanging private property, this can be reported via FMS or cut back and returned onto LBB bank side. JH
