Cars parked obstructing pavements

Reported in the Car parking category anonymously at 13:42, Wed 5 January 2011

Sent to Aylesbury Vale District Council 2 minutes later

Many cars parked on pavements causing obstruction, particularly around lunch times. It's difficult for pedestrians to walk the length of Gatehouse Way towards the junction with Griffin Lane due to the number of vehicles parked on the pavements inconsiderately. Get some traffic wardens/inspectors out of Aylesbury town centre to ticket and fine these offenders.

Updates

  • Daily occurance with these lorries outside of bridgegate business park. Completely blocking the pavement restricting our fire drill outside of our business and also anybody who wishes to post anything. They mostly stop there for either ASM recycling or to get food but they are positioned so dangerously that when pulling out of the estate you have no clue as to what is behind the lorry which on more than one occassion has caused accidents.

I'd like this looked into as a matter of urgency as it is not fair that their selfishness endangers other road users
