Still no salt or grit in southwaite

Reported in the Roads/highways category by John Rimmington at 16:49, Saturday 12 January 2019

Sent to Cumbria County Council 1 minute later

Usually Highways provide grit and salt in October - ahead of Winter. This did not happen again this year - and was reported two months ago. There is a highway fault at the junction with Wreay Road - water issuing out of the carriageway after it has rained - this was also reported two months ago. When we get frosts - this junction will be a skating rink! At least this is a matter of public record and in the event of any road traffic accident the evidence shows that the County Council has failed to act!
