Lamp post shining too bright into house. Can’t sleep.

Reported in the Street Lighting and Road Signs category anonymously at 22:54, Friday 11 January 2019 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bromley Council 1 minute later

I live at 179 Blandford Rd, BR3 4Ng and the lamp post I am referring to is on Villiers Road overlooking my garden (I am end of terrace).

The lamp is a very bright cool white led and shines straight into our bedrooms, living room and patio. It interferes with our sleep and peace of mind.

My request is either to place a shield over the head on the north side whereby the naked light is blocked from site on my garden/house side or exchange the lamp for a warmer coloured version with lower lumens?

Please advise if either is possible.
