Sunken trench across road.

Reported in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 14:22, Fri 11 January 2019

Sent to Hampshire County Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1510070.

From the works to create depot between the A31 and M3 (where the power cables were laid?) the trench is now sinking leaving a hard-edge which is uncomfortable in a soft riding air suspension 4x4, and bloody painful on a motorcycle.

  • Gotten to the stage it's safer to ride off the marked by white edge line highway than hit the trench edge.

  • Trench has now sunk to the edges on the carriageway, surprised there's not been a back injury reported as even in an air suspension car the jolt of pain is awful.
