Some years ago the paving slabs that covered the pavement on Leslie Avenue were tarmacked over. These slabs over time have sunk and although the pavement is still tarmacked the pacing slabs underneath are causing a trip hazard as they are making the tarmac uneven.

Highway Superintendent inspected the length of Leslie Avenue 11/1/19 and found most of it is tarmac. There are no HSIM safety defects or significant defects likely to cause an issue to the public. The slabs move to a max of 8mm against HSIM suggested intervention level of 20mm . Highway Superintendent has add the slabbed section to the list of future resurfacing schemes

I was informed that the paving slabs although uneven were in tolerance. That said they are still a trip hazard as I have recently fell over on them when walking
