Sent to TfL 3 minutes later
Since moving to the area we consiently disturbed by a beep beep beep from the crossing on Lowlands Road. We live very near the crossing and although it does silence overnight it goes off nearly every 60 seconds throughout the day. We have had new windows installed to help dampen the noise but it still penetrates through.
Can the council please alter the signal or turn the volume down or point the speaker/siren away from the houses on Lowlands Road.
There are many modern crossings throughout London which have been upgraded with other mechanics so a sounding crossing is not needed. Can this be done or at least looked at.
