  • Pavement reduced to half a metre due to the proximity of lamppost T 197 closing the gap between the tree roots, no passage for mobility scooters . Pavement reduced from 2 and half metre to a narrow gap.

  • It is still dangerous to pass on the footway as the old tree has knurled roots causing significant damage to the surface of the footway restricting the width to a single person negotiating the gap between the tree root and the lamppost and can easily cause someone to trip. The alternative is to step into the roadway beside the lamppost , stepping off a high kerb.
