Cars parked on double yellows/pavement
Reported in the Car parking category anonymously at 20:21, Sun 30 December 2018
Sent to Coventry City Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1498666.
Cars parked on double yellow lines and all over pavement outside 97-100 Broad Street - meeting hall users parking illegally..as per usual. Please please please can the hall owner be told to take responsibility and tell the hall users to park accordingly. Mosque users also doubling up on this parking-again users need to be told to park legally. Other venues tell their users repeatedly whether they drive or not or have cars or not to not park on pavements or double yellow lines...these venues on Broad Street are able to make their own rules with no repercussions. Pavements are for people to walk, they aren’t wide to accommodate fifty million cars. Venues need to limit number of users of provide adequate parking. These buildings are previously work premises, they should remain as such. Who gave permission to change their use of premises to ideas that are impractical, encourage illegal parking, disruptive anti-social behaviour and opening hours at all times of the day and night. It’s horrendous for residents. Owner must have close relations with Councillors to allow this awful behaviour..

Nope - Council ignores this no matter how many times I report it. Meanwhile it's an issue to walk on the pavements when they are dominated by cars, not to mention driving with cars parked all over the shop!
