Problems with regards to insufficient parking which could result in a major accident.

Stocks Green had a small fence erected along the street to prevent parking a few years ago; this has resulted in all the extra parking associated with Stocks Green parking on the grass alongside the beginning of Boundary Lane; in fact on occasion also obstructing the drives for those living on Boundary Lane. Not only has this destroyed the grass area; reduced parking of those living on Boundary Lane but could prove to aid a major incident in the future. During the summer this year there was a car chase on Shilton Park which resulted in the offending car speeding onto the grassed area of Boundary Lane in order to get away from the police and only stopped when they realised there was no access through to Glenmore estate, they then ran leaving the police to follow on foot. The grass area outside Boundary Lane is used by children as a play area also as is Stocks Green grass; however they have the luxury of a fence to ward off such behaviour as parking/speeding cars getaway access points therefore aiding the prevention of folk getting hurt or even worse killed. If there had been children on the grass that summer early evening they wouldn't have stood a chance. If we had the same fence as Stocks Green has it would ward of idiots acting in this way and create a safer place for all; especially as this part of the road is on a bend with no pavements and there wouldn't be any cars obstructing garages or views of on coming vehicles especially on the bend.
