Road Sweeping of gulley needed
Reported via iOS in the Street cleaning category by Thomas Clarke at 06:46, Fri 14 December 2018
Sent to Cherwell District Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1486877.
The stretch of the A41 from Rodney house roundabout to the Tesco roundabout needs a road sweeper to clear the gullets along each side.
Accumulation of debris and mud over time mean they are full and drainage is now becoming poor or restricted in places causing some localised flooding.
Simple pass with road sweeper would make a massive difference to the state of the gullets and the road condition especially as temperatures dropping ice will be a significant risk here

Hi there this area has still not been fixed despite being reported a number of times, see another report titled “Large Amount of Standing Water” yesterday’s rainfall was clearly seen to have flowed down the slope and gathered at the bottom stretching approximately 1/3 of the way across the carriageway. All of the drains are blocked and some have vegetation growing out of it. The situation has been made worse we suspect by mud from the nearby Graven Hill development and the roundabout works having been deposited from the tyres of vehicles.
