Vegetation blocking visibility to footpath/cycleway
Reported in the Trees overhanging roads/paths category anonymously at 14:32, Sat 8 December 2018
Sent to Essex County Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1481703.
Travelling southbound, roadside vegetation in nearside verge on inside of bend is obscuring visibility to footway/cycleway crossing. It is also encroaching from verge into road pushing motorists into opposing lane. Vegetation needs cutting back to ground level over full width of verge. Been like this for many months and has become worse, even now summer has passed.

Still no action. This is going to get a lot worse now that the vegetation is growing again.

Visibility of on-coming vehicles is now very impaired what with vegetation growth. I have to listen for approaching traffic before crossing. Once a vehicle is seen, it would be too late to avoid an accident. Why won’t the council cut the verge?

Vegetation now grown high and wide to fill verge making it impossible to see cars approaching on this left hand bend. This makes it dangerous to cross because vehicles can't be seen.
