Updates

  • Still not fixed. Now the street light at the foot of Essex Brae just across the road, is switching on and off for minutes at a time. This now makes the junction of Essex Brae and Essex Rd a real problem, especially because of occasions of black ice have led to cars coming down Essex Brae going into a 4 wheel drift when trying to turn left into Essex Rd. Can something be done before an accident happens?

    Still open, via questionnaire

  • Difficult to know whether my reports, or our Libdems help line, forced action from the Council. However, not a moment too soon, as the recent cold spell has, as I warned, resulted in some cars skidding at the junction of Essex Brae and Essex Rd. It took a long time to get the light(s) working again, so thanks.

    State changed to: Fixed
