Failed refuse collection

Reported in the Rubbish (refuse and recycling) category anonymously at 09:51, Friday 7 December 2018

Sent to Thanet District Council 3 minutes later

This morning the refuse collectors have taken anything that was in a seagull bag from the street and ignored every rubbish sack that wasn't in a seagull bag. Nearly all the sacks that have been ignored are properly tied and as you can see many are on the public footpath. Is this behavior seriously what we pay council taxes for? When you report it to the rubbish and recycling team they say they'll collect 'at some point over next week'. The seagulls and foxes will have had a field day with these black sacks by then and the refuse lorry won't take it when they come back round as it'll be strewn all over the street. Imagine how much flytipping will take place before then now that this mess has been left by council workers. "One cracked pane of glass in the greenhouse" and all that. Get your act together TDC and train your workers properly. Disgusting.
