Problems with the Council weeding pavements

Reported by DON BYRNE at 10:04, Wed 5 December 2018

Sent to Warwick District Council and Warwickshire County Council 1 minute later

Yesterday (4th Dec 2018) the Council removed weeds on the pavements in Cross Street Leamington. This was all then swept down from the pavement into the street, nobody returned to the street to clean up the road and the residents of Cross Street are now left their street in a disgraceful mess.

Secondly, this weeding operation is being done far too forcefully and in such a manner that the tarmac is actually being removed from the pavement. If the council don’t repair the tarmac that’s been dug out from the pavement close to the properties the householders will have problems with dampness inside their properties, so swift action is required to ensure that this doesn’t happen to residents houses.
