Bottom of Horseshoe Hill

Reported in the Pothole category anonymously at 11:56, Mon 3 December 2018 using FixMyStreet Pro

Received by Buckinghamshire County Council moments later

The road surface at the junction of Horseshoe Hill with Dropmore Road was subject to a major reinstatement a few years ago when the road surface collapsed. The resurfacing work has now begun to sink, causing a pooling of water on the road surface, as shown in the attached photograph. This is in the left hand side of Horseshoe Hill as you come down the hill, about 10 feet from the junction. If there are freezing temperatures this winter, this will become extremely dangerous if the pooling water ices over, especially as traffic has to stop having come down the hill before Dropmore Road. It is also potentially the same initial sign of the sub structure collapsing as manifested itself before the previous major problem arose, and it is impossible to assess the condition of the sub-surface structure. I suggest this is inspected swiftly to avoid further major problems.
