Signage need on the road surface.

Reported in the Road traffic signs category by Vince Clark at 16:57, Sat 1 December 2018

Sent to Halton Borough Council 4 minutes later

The A557 was two lanes but has now been divided due to the new road setup. The outside lane going towards the M56 (Junction 12) the nearside lane goes towards the A533 and the new bridge. This is a sharp left bend and drivers have to make a very quick decision which one they want otherwise they end up on the hazard lines. I would like to suggest some painted road makings on the A557 of arrows on the road, one pointing straight on (towards the M56) in the right hand lane and the other pointing to the left on the left hand lane (towards the A533)..

  • Halton B C contacted me and advised me to contact the bridge builders which I have. I have had no acknowledgement from them to date. I intend contacting CHESHIRE CC next.
