Resident Parking

Reported in the Car parking category anonymously at 11:54, Fri 30 November 2018

Sent to Leeds City Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 1474197.

On Netherfield close in Yeadon Leeds -Cars are abondoned/parked at the end of the cul-de-sac by numerous residents from adjacent streets ,some with more that 2 cars. Dropped curbs are frequently blocked and the most smallest of gaps left for ACTUAL residents to reverse their cars from driveways. (Which are always used plus garages to ensure clear access to the street.)

The culprits have been approached numerous times but get verbally aggressive when asked to try where possible not to block driveways. This issue has been more than frequent for 2 years. And the culprits are not just visitors cars are parked 24/7

Due to this the turning circle at the end of the culdesac dead end is non existent and emergency vehicles would have no chance of turning round or even approaching a few of the houses.

Even the little things like putting the bin out some of us have to wheel our bins nearly 100 yards due to the access at the end of the road and the bin men can’t come far enough down.

There simply needs to be a no parking zone box implemented as there are plenty of other options for these lazy, rude, disrespectful bad-neighbours.
