No Lighting in the Car park

Reported in the Car parks (only council run ones) category anonymously at 14:37, Thu 29 November 2018

Sent to South Oxfordshire District Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1473417.

The Lights do not work in the car park at the back of the Midcounties Cooperative. This is dangerous for all who use it past 4.30pm as it is near total darkness. This has been an issue for months however is more prevalent now we are in the winter months.

Council ref: 1473417

Updates

  • 13/1/2019 - This is still an issue and it's particularly important that it be addressed because in certain parts of the car park pedestrians cannot see anything where they are walking and so it becomes a trip hazard (per the kerbs and areas of uneven ground), particularly to the elderly and young children. None of the main lights appear to be working, but it would be a help if just some of them could be switched on, at least in the middle of the car park. Thanks.
