Uneven road surface

The surface of this street is terribly uneven, particularly at the Church Lane end and needs a complete resurfacing. Other streets nearby, including Rydal Ave and Patterdale Ave also have similar problems, although the occasional repair has been done. Cars tend to use Grasmere and the above named streets as a way of avoiding the traffic around the shops on Acklam Road (its directly behind the shops)than other streets further into the estate which are not as badly affected. I include a picture of some of the damage.

Updates

  • The potholes I mentioned haven't been fixed, and if anything the situation has got worse since the icy weather. New potholes have also emerged on a number of streets in Middlesbrough
