Old and rusty barbed wire on boundry of new public footpath
Reported anonymously at 16:41, Fri 16 November 2018
Sent to Rugby Borough Council and Warwickshire County Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1463424.
There is old and rusty barbed wire on boundry of new public footpath at Bugle Close. This was exposed by builders when they cut back the old hedgerow between two fields when building their development. This has been repeatedly reported to Rugby Borough Council as an extreme danger to children and pets but so far it has not been removed. This wire spreads all the way along the new development and continues on the footpath behing Orchid Way / Sorrel drive areas leading to the childrens playground. In places there is also wire approximately 8" off the old fencing and in some places also running along the top of the fence.
