Good afternoon,
Thank you for contacting Warrington Borough Council.
We have received your dog fouling report. The case reference number is CRM 861037. Please quote this number if you need to contact us again regarding this issue.
Please note:
We ensure roads and footways are swept on a regular basis throughout the year, as such, any requests for dog fouling to be cleared will only usually be carried out during this scheduled work.
If you have provided us with information about the dog owner this information will be passed to the environmental crime team for their consideration.
We are keen to tackle irresponsible dog owners and ensure they are held accountable for their actions. Where possible, we will investigate further and take appropriate, necessary and proportionate action where we are legally allowed to do so.
A member of the enforcement team will only contact you:
- If they need to confirm something or they believe you may have further information that would assist in an investigation
- To ask if you would be willing to assist in any investigation by providing a witness statement to formally present your evidence
The more information you provide, the more likely it is we will be able to identify the irresponsible owner.
If you have not been able to provide information about the dog owner responsible, then the environmental crime team are limited in what they can do.
Please assist us and encourage your neighbours and friends to report any future dog fouling issues via our website at warrington.gov.uk/dogfouling
Kind regards,
WBC
