At long last contractors have been on site, the downside is that cosmetic work is all that's been carried out, looks "pretty" but still as intrusive for pedestrians. In short a total waste of taxpayers money. I repeat comments I made in original message i.e. " I suggest it should be vertical above wall." Additionally the overgrown Ivy on other side of footpath has not been touched.
We have looked into this issue and found it is not the council's responsibility. Please let the organisation responsible know instead. The report is now closed, further comments may not be monitored. PROW
State changed to: not the council's responsibility

Can't understand "not the council's responsibility " as it's a public footpath, hedges are householders responsibility but surely the council enforces the requirements of hedge boundaries.
