Barrier blocking access to Linear Park

Three wooden bars have been attached across part of the entrance to Linear Park/the Two Tunnels path at the top of Inverness Rd narrowing the access point.

I can’t really believe this. If someone wants to drive into the road from their driveway they need to take care and attention. Perhaps reversing into their drive would help so they can drive out forwards and see what’s happening? There is a shared path here now and I’m sure the pedestrian/cycle traffic has increased, but really this seems completely silly. This access point is not new. Give full access to the path and encourage active travel!
