Noisy neighbor

Reported by David Brown at 18:24, Wed 31 October 2018

Sent to Hull City Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 1450558.

No.18 are being excessively noisy during the evening. I believe their children are running up and down the stairs constantly. Furthermore, their boiler sounds like it's on constantly-day and night.

Lastly, my previous complaints haven't been dealt with yet. Why is that? They are also important matters that need attending to immediately

  • Nothing has been done to resolve any of the issues I've raised.

If these things aren't dealt with within a week I shall be writing to the Hull Daily Mail and local MPs.

  • No.18 Shakespeare close is being excessively noisy during the evenings. They are smoking marijuana and playing loud music all the time. Furthermore, their boiler sounds like it's on constantly-day and night. Lastly, my previous complaints haven't been dealt with yet. Why is that?

The grass verges still haven't been cut, nor has the tarmac been replaced on Vane street.

Why are you not listening to my concerns? Surely these aren't difficult things to sort out.

  • The noisy neighbours have been reported to the neighbourhood nuisance team who will investigate. If this is something you would like more updates on you will need to contact us directly providing your contact details.

I have also reported the grass verges to be cut, this will be done as soon as possible.

Please advise if the tarmac needs replacing on pavement or road on Vane street, we can report this again for you but cannot provide a timescale for such works

  • The whole of Vane street road and path need to be layed with new tarmac. I realize the grass cutting season is coming to an end but I have seen mowing machines out and about so it must still be on-going.

  • Please confirm number 18 of which street? This isn't clear on the map as the pointer is in between two streets?
