This road still hasn't been repaired although I did notice a sign warning of 'moving roadworks ' on an adjacent road recently with an explanatory 'Filling Potholes' added. So the council is repairing some roads - even if they haven't got around to mine yet.

We were told by the council roads manager last week that he was going to have a jet patcher in our area so he would fix our potholes as well. Not terribly surprised that the Christmas holiday has no arrived and STILL the potholes have not been filled.

They are still talking about inspecting the road and marking it for repairs. There is no sign that anyone has been near it. The potholes are getting bigger and bigger and deeper and deeper.

A feeble effort has been made to fill some of the largest potholes but there still remain significant holes in the tarmac and areas of broken surface. What has been done can only be a temporary measure until a more thorough job can be done. The drains are also blocked so that the road fills up with water from side to side in places when it rains.i

Still no progress on this pothole filled piece of road. The council's own records show that it has been inspected numerous times over the last 5 years and potholes have been reported every time. At no time have any repairs been done in the 5 years that the records go back. The road has just been flooded over a stretch of about 20m for several days. Water is inches deep and completely covers the carriageway. Potholes are getting rapidly bigger as the pressure of passing tyres forces water into the holes.

Still no progress. The council says it will look at addressing the problem - but that's all they do: look!

An inspector has apparently visited and marked some of the worst potholes for repair. This has happened before and the paint has worn off before any action was taken . It remains to be seen whether they are serious this time.
