Numerous Potholes

Numerous potholes on the extremely worn road surface on Walkerburn Road (between Paisley Road West and Berwick Drive) including a large pothole (over 120cm dia.) on the footpath adjacent to the gated lane nearest to Berwick Drive.

  • Despite the rush to spend the GCC roads budget ahead of financial year end, no repairs have been undertaken in this location. The Majority of the potholes exceed the sizes which would instigate compensation claims from impacted road users

  • Issue with the speed bump at the top end of the street as bad as ever. Noticed that a patch job has been done on the pavement hole. Entrance to the street (from paisley road , and potholes running to the speed bump still as bad as ever.
