Mud from demolition site vehicles

Contrary to sections 148,149 and 161 of the Highways Act 1980 the owner/contractors are allowing the spread of mud from vehicles leaving the old service station site and have NOT been cleaning up as required by law.

  • Some improvement, though I suspect most of the mud has simply been washed into the road surface drains, which will probably be clogged and overflowing shortly.

  • Most of the building work is now complete, but there is still mud coming from the site on an occasional basis.
