Sent to Cornwall Council 4 minutes later
Oh dear! After a lull dumping outside the scrapyard in Carnarthen Street has started again. Until a prosecution or two takes place with the appropriate news coverage this will continue and I, frustratingly so, will continue reporting it. May I suggest, 1. Install visible camera surveillance & 2. respectfully ask the scrapyard management to at least place all behind their gates after first contacting Biffa for subsequent collection. At least our streets will look better when they are closed for business. Incidentally, one of the 'white goods' shown in the photo has been there for over two days whilst the scrapyard has been open for business. I send this report hoping someone, somewhere is listening and sympathetic to a solution.
Although the rubbish has been removed the problem continues repeatedly simply because no-one at the yard or the council are interested in permanently resolving it. In fact, unless I report it indeed no-one does anything at all substantiated by the fact recently 14 days had passed with nothing done until my report. The solution is not 'rocket science' but lethargy seems to be the attitude of both Simms management and the council.
