Cars stopping on yellow lines next to junction

Reported in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 23:31, Fri 12 October 2018

Sent to Hull City Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1436167.

Cars and vans are regularly stopping on the yellow lines outside of the post office next to St Hilda's Street.

Regularly, I am unable to see the road to the right when exiting St Hilda's Street because the illegally-stopped cars and vans block my line of sight. This means that I have to slowly edge out, and run the risk of collision because I still cannot see.

Please can better signage be placed next to the yellow lines (e.g. "no stopping"). The fact that it is a post office means that these are probably random people and therefore increased traffic patrols may not work.

On previous occasions when I've reported via Fix my Street I've been asked to personally email a different department. Respectfully, I do not wish to do that - this is my report warning the appropriate authorities of the traffic danger.
