Overfull recycling bins
Reported in the Rubbish (refuse and recycling) category anonymously at 13:57, Fri 12 November 2010
Sent to Tower Hamlets Borough Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 142554.
The 3 recycling bins are being used for general and large rubbish since the landlord (EastendHomes) have closed off access for residents to the big skip in Ennerdale House, and without providing an alternative. Today the overspill is excessive and flies all over the place in the wind; stuff lands in trees and even in the building site on the opposite side of the road.
Updates
-
The situation has still not been fixed - extremely bad customer care from our housing provider - EastendHomes.

The bins in the original report to Fix were emptied a few days later - but the problem persists as our landlord, EastendHomes, have still not provided an alternative bin or skip for general rubbish. Until that happens this will continue... See picture from this afternoon (Sat 20 Nov 2010). This morning a squirrel had a rummage in the bins, as good as vermin.

The situation finally has improved - bins for general waste were provided on Christmas Eve.
