Loading bays

Reported via iOS in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 09:37, Sat 29 September 2018

Sent to Croydon Borough Council 3 minutes later

The loading bays on Church Road by the traffic light are too close to the junction, meaning cars parked there block vehicles from getting into the right hand lane to queue to turn right into Weston Street and so Church Road becomes backed up all the way to Cystal Palace Parade. Please move the loading bays back 2-3 spaces.

  • Traffic jam unnecessarily being created along Church Road which then impacts Westow Hill, Anerley Hill, and Crystal Palace Parade as traffic is held up at the lights at Westow Street/Church Road and vehicles are unable to filter into the right hand lane, as the loading bay is too close to the junction.
