Westridge Road

Reported in the Illegal parking category anonymously at 10:52, Thu 27 September 2018

Sent to Southampton City Council 3 minutes later

Car drivers parking on the double yellow lines between Portswood road and the car park on Westridge road. The council say they do issue tickets on this road. When is the council going to fix this problem? This is happening all day and every evening to the point where other road users cannot turn into Westridge road from Portswood road or Tennyson road. This has been getting worse since Woolworth closed.

  • 23 10 2018 at 7pm. Could not get out of Westridge Road as cars parked from the junction of Portswood Road right down to the public car park on the double yellow lines. Vehicles were reversing back to Tennyson Road and turning around to take an alternative route. Cars were queuing on Portswood Road and then giving up. this problem is far from fixed!
