Noisy Manhole

This manhole cover is really noisy. Every single vehicle that goes in and out of Arcadia Close hits it. You can hear it during the day and especially at night. It is in the centre of the road about 20metres into Arcadia Close. RG22 4AJ. It has been like this for about 18 months now and is getting louder.

  • The system just says it’s been passed to a third party! Who that is?? god knows. When will it get fixed??....god knows! The noise drives you nuts!!!

  • Still nothing has been done. No surprise there then!!! How hard can it be to come out and inspect a manhole? The noise drives you mad at night and early morning especially. Dont even know who owns the manhole so cant have a go at them!!!

  • Still nothing done and it’s getting intolerable. Nearly every vehicle going in and out of the close runs over it.
