Very dangerous pedestrian crossing

Reported in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 13:15, Thu 13 September 2018

Sent to Leicestershire County Council 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1412051.

Overgrown vegetation and speeding vehicles make it very dangerous to cross the A50 here, even though it is an official crossing place. The vegetation needs pruning or removing at this point, so that vehicles can clearly see pedestrians. Some warning signage for vehicles would also help. NOTE - exact location is between Glenfield Frith Drive and Holmwood Drive, opposite "The Lodge". If I choose the exact location, the enquiry goes to Leicester City Council who say it is not their responsibility.
