Unsafe road junction

Sent to Halton Borough Council 19 minutes later

When leaving A533 to join the Weston link road you are unable to safely assess the flow of traffic due to the uphill approach , this is compounded by the short length of roadway available for further assessment or even to stop safely if required at the top of the hill.This has been a constant topic of conversation amongst local population since road opened.The junction is not safe and requires redesign urgently.

    The road layout design has been reviewed and approved by all relevant parties, including Halton Borough Council, and has been constructed in line with that design. There are no plans to change anything at the present time.
