Sent to East Hertfordshire District Council and Hertfordshire County Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 1410433.

Hi, I'm concerned about a2b taxis. They are continually parked in disabled bays next to the station and next to the carriages. We are trying to locate who owns this land and if it owned by the flats to stop them using this area as parking. They are parking badly and regularly blocking the area. Please can you confirm that the business is allowed to operate from this land and they are able to use disabled parking bays for thier buisness? Thanks Christopher

  • From East Herts Council - I am assuming you are referring to the 'off street' bays between the Carriages flats and the station and if so these are enforced by NCP so are private. There is signage regarding this. There is a taxi rank on the bend on the highway next to these bays and taxis may remain in the rank when plying for hire.
