Your workman in the wrong place
Reported anonymously at 17:32, Tue 11 September 2018
Sent to Warwick District Council and Warwickshire County Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1410248.
At 1.50pm today I ‘intercepted’ a Warwicks CC workman in a truck pulling into the "northern" end of Westham Lane (i.e. the portion of Westham Lane which is directly off A429 ) He said he was about to put up barriers to close off this part of the road and had no clue that there was another part of Westham Lane actually in the village itself, albeit with the same post code. I find it incredible that he should have the authority to close a road when he has no clue exactly where it should be closed. We managed to put him right, but as this is not the first time this sort of thing has happened perhaps you will endeavour in future to ensure your workmen know exactly where they need to go.
