Sent to Comhairle nan Eilean Siar 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 140792.
Between no 20 and 10 Lower Sandwick when it rains water gathers and is unable to drain away due to the drainage holes being blocked - one drain at no 12 is open but remainder all appear blocked with mud.
Is it possible please for something be done before more rain this winter - pedestrians getting soaked by cars as they pass them by.

Roadsweeper has been along but it is THE ACCESS TO DRAINS which is blocked, no use sending a mechanical sweeper, it needs a person to physically remove all debris

Twice since problem reported they have swept street - but still not cleared the entrance to the drains so water still unable to flow into drains easily. When they sweep street more fine silt is pushed into drain hole areas blocking it even more!!!!
