Considerable rolling of road covering such that road edges are higher than pavements in places.

Sent to Oxford City Council 5 minutes later

The road surface from The Swan junction down the Oxford Road hill as far as Marsh Road is becoming more and more dangerous for vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians. This has been reported on a number of occasions over the last year. There are multiple areas where the road is above the pavement height, meaning people are tripping as they try to cross the road. This is even beginning to happen at the edge of the zebra crossing, the markings on which are now so worn as to be almost invisible. The bus stop near to the zebra crossing is one large pothole. One rolled tar point opposite the police station did get a green marker, presumably by a Council officer; the tar is still moving and the green line has almost disappeared. There is a very high risk of a serious incident on this road.

  • Thanks for patchii zebra - much safer but I assume it will be fully repaired along the road very soon? Other issue reported, ie worn out zebra markings, still not addressed. Reported last year! The zebra is dangerous ++. Cars continually ignore it. Repainting needed urgently. Also really needs earning road signs to alert drivers. And possible check lights as drivers simply don't seem to see them.
