Car parking encroaching the footpath

Reported in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 13:14, Mon 3 September 2018

Sent to Hampshire County Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 1402942.

Towards the lower end of Anton Road a number of residents have I assume been given planning permission to turn their front gardens into drives. Some of the residents are acting reasonably in that their cars are small enough to be parked safely but some own and therefore park cars far too large for the space. This leads to significant encroachment of the public footpath and causes pedestrians to have to take diversions. My understanding to talking to other local residents is that this has been reported before. Please do something quickly before someone gets hurt.
