Gate across the route

Reported in the Footpaths/ Rights of way (usually not tarmac) category anonymously at 17:04, Mon 27 August 2018

Sent to Norfolk County Council 1 minute later

Ludham FP 10 at grid ref: TG 3728 1802. Metal field gates, locked up across the path, with kissing gate to the side. No limitation is recorded here on the definitive map and statement. The gates appear to be serving no actual purpose in terms of preventing the ingress or egress of animals on agricultural land. Question for Norfolk C.C.: Do these gates have lawful authority? If not, then they must be removed from the full legal width of the highway.
