Path hidden, unsigned

Reported in the Footpaths/ Rights of way (usually not tarmac) category anonymously at 00:39, Sun 26 August 2018

Sent to Norfolk County Council less than a minute later

No signage for Neatishead FP7, where it leaves RB4 and FP5. There is nothing on the ground to indicate where FP 7 goes, or that it even exists. The path's existence is effectively hidden. This issue was raised with Norfolk CC in November 2007, February 2009, and November 2011. Norfolk CC are under a statutory duty to erect signage where needed to assist persons unfamiliar with the locality to follow the route of a public path. Local highway authorities are admonished, in DEFRA Circular 01/09, at paragraph 2.11, as to the particular importance of providing signposts at path junctions.
