The faded double yellow lines down The Poplars, Arbury rd, have been fading away for over two years, recent work on part of the road has caused them to be covered over even more. Which has meant more cars are parking all day and over night taking up almost all of the footpath leaving no room for people walking, wheelchairs, pushchairs, mobility scooters and even ambulance access. The cars are forcing people to have to walk in the road. Repeated calls to the NSL over the last two years has unfortunately not resolved anything. Please can these yellow lines get repainted so this may help stop the illegal parking and the dangers for the local residents as this small road leads to an elderly people’s complex and bungalows that require emergency vehicle access 24/7.
