Status unknown
A well established infestation of Japanese Knotweed beside the stream just off Brownlow Drive
Reported in the Japanese knotweed / ragwort category anonymously at 08:09, Mon 20 August 2018
Sent to Warwickshire County Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 1391767.
This infestation is on what I assume to be public property, right next to the stream which carries with it the dangers of it being carried downstream, and presumably down to the river Avon, along its banks and all the way to Bristol. Not good news

From what I understand the best time to treat the plants is whilst they are flowering, which I noticed this morning, i.e. 18th September 2018, is happening now. I think the next opportunity will be another years time.

From what I can see no progress has been made on this issue. This is a bit worrying as being next to a tributary of the River Avon (I assume), it has the opportunity to travel far and wide via the river Avon. I can only assume that it came from either upstream, or dumped from a local garden, both of which probably also need investigating.
