People going bump in the dark by the tree catcher in darkness

Reported in the Street lighting category anonymously at 00:18, Sun 19 August 2018

Sent to Wirral Borough Council 2 minutes later

No lights towads l close where the garages are this is already a very dark area as there is 2 very large and overgrown trees that literally you have to duck halfway down to just walk past on the pathway to get past making residents scatrf of their own front door as many houses are here the tree are one thing but to have no lighting we should not be made to feel scared at our own homes either an accident or something serious will happen if left any longer especially with an uneven pathway to top it all off. Not worth pitting a photo as it would just be pitch black anyway and I for one am not going out to take it so see for yourselves when visiting to fix the lighting problem once again as its been less than 6months since the last time maybe its the trees could have a trim while their but we won't hold our breathe

  • Still no lighting and more and more lights are out on this estate now as well as all public transport after 6:30pm and alday Sundays has been totally stopped. Their are worse areas than here let me tell you that now for sure. Why are we being cut off from the rest taxes are paid more in the noctorum than other places and their are other areas on benefits more than here end of but wasting my time here talking to a unread and an unmonitored site what a fun job you must have laughing as you delete each concern we are people to just like yourselves you will know what I mean by this as it's a bit like karma in a roundabout way wait and see sooner than you will expect have a nice day

  • After several months and still not being fixed I myself have had a nasty accident already I have a spinal disease but having walked to the bus stop on the 23rd of December at 4:50 which was pitch black I had walked full force into a concrete Ballard which really did take the wind out of me I thought I'd broken my leg at first I was and still am in such a lot of pain from above my knee to the top of my leg made full contact with the Ballard I also have a very large nasty bruise on the top of my leg I cannot kneal down with my leg nor can I bend down with it I was borderline nearly unconscious when I done this how I never went fully over it is a miracle I felt my whole body just come to a blunt stop and my leg pushed right back behind me my spinal disease has so many problems and this has really effected it more. I said mother's ago it's a matter of time before an accident happens I certainly did not think for one minute that it would be myself in question I could take this matter much further but all I want is to be able to see where am walking outside my own home without feel scared and worried to go out incase of such things like this happening frieghtening enough thinking someone could be waiting to jump out at you but to have an accident whilst thinking this just to go for the bus is unjustifiable if you would like a picture of my leg I would be happy to send you one but if this is not resolved soon as an emergency case I have no option to make my voice heard through other means and take it to my solicitor
