Malvern Park. NoLitter, broken glass and park bench moved into trees

Reported in the Parks/landscapes category anonymously at 10:31, Sat 18 August 2018

Sent to Solihull Borough Council 3 minutes later

I complained over 1 month ago that one of the park tables/seating units had been forcibly moved from its slab base to near the other seating unit and the area covered in litter. Nothing positive has happened and now it is worse. The seating area is now in a clump of trees nearby, surrounded by even more litter and frequented by teenagers often smoking cannabis. In addition, a memorial bench has disappeared. This bench overlooked the basketball court. Last time I complained the problem was passed to the Parks Department, clearly they have done nothing. I noticed in the local paper that Malvern/Brueton Park has been awarded the coveted Green Flag - quite rightly as the area is so beautiful. However, I think that the person at the Council, who receives this, should take a 5 minute walk from their office, into the park, and view this disgusting mess for themselves before they pass this complaint onto someone else. This area is to the right of the basketball court as you walk through the park from Solihull centre.
