New street light installed at front and rear of our house are too bright for the small area they have to illuminate

The front light is subsequently lighting up our whole front garden, this is a large issue for us as it is preventing our CCTV nightvision from activating thus putting us at a potential safety risk. We would like to suggest a ‘visor’ be installed on the light to allow the light to be directed downward onto the pathway instead of in the direction of our house. This, in our view would eliminate any issues with our CCTV and the amount of light directed on our garden permanently.

We would also like to enquire as to why a bright white light has been installed as part of 2 new lights on the street. One of which being the old orangey colour lamp and the one by our drive access being the bright floodlight type.
